I had to take a break from packing to run franticaly round doing the Black Friday sales, it was a must! It was a super fast race, and consequently I ended up wearing the same outfit for a couple of days, le gasp.

I built it around the incredible boots from Gfield, and the classic jacket from Fishy Strawberry. Have you seen the boots close up? The texturing is out of this world.

Whimsy turned me onto the leggings from Zaara. You have to go the fatpack, srsly, cos you never know when you’ll need paint splattered primary colour leggings :P My glasses are from HOC, I took Jussy there and we went loco, again! I mean, 40L for colour change glasses, how could you not buy them?

Another store that had a huge Black Friday sale was Boom, I grabbed some great bargains, this dress being one of them. The ribbon boots from Gfield were my go to for this outfit, and moar Zaara leggings.

The super cute hair is from Ay.line, I loves, although I would dearly like a better blonde. However, the fat pack is great value, and there’s plenty of other shades to keep my wee hairhoowa heart happy. Ash Out.

Anexx Newness

Just a super quick post as I’m exhausted from rl packing. Machang Pichot from Aoharu/Anexx has a brand new release for you, coming out later today.

The 2 Way Belt Laceup Boots are a variation on her already popular Lace Up Boots. I adore the textures on this new version, everything from the lace holes to the belts themselves are perfection. The leather of the boot itself is beautifully scuffed and worn in. My favies are the grey and brown, I’m sure they’ll fast become a wardrobe staple. Ash Out.

At a time of year when I would usually be hitting the beach, and complaining about the unbearable heat, I am instead wearing 43698745684567 layers of clothing and unable to move my fingers properly cos I’m so sodding cold. This English weather is gonna take some getting used to, and Winter hasnt even started properly yet.

So in honour of my freezing my real ass off, I thought I would show off the scrummy warm clothes my av has been wearing for the last couple of days. The look started with the awesome new cardigan from Bare Rose, Usakko. You get blue,brown,green,grey and pink in the pack, insane value, and it’s so warm and cuddly looking!

Of course the perfect hair was one of my all time faves from Mirai Style, Fuka. The hat is texture change so you get loads of options, I dont think it left my head for very long last winter :P Aaaaaaaaand the shoes. Sasy had tp’d me to a store months ago called HOC. My vivid memory from that trip was the ridiculously cheap price of all the shoes. My runners, 16 colour change, 40L. Mhmm, that was no typo. Ooh newness!

Oh today has been soo up there on the awesomesauce scale. I gots to hang out with Noodle, it’s been so long, the timezone thinger sucks pus. We bought all sorts of fabutastic stuff before she dragged me (yes dragged kicking and screaming) to Runoruno to check out the newness.

Shown above is the After Ballet Class Skirt and the Weave Jacket. Yup total yum, and the perfect foil for my Riding Boots from Coco, which I had picked up a few weeks before the Footwear Expo. There are alot of prims, so be prepared for some editing, although Ms Runo is kind enough to not only provide her hip measurements, but also editing instructions for newer players, not bad ay!

Ah my fabulous new Lace-Up Workboots from Coco. They are made of so much bloody win I don’t know where to start. Wear em loose, wear em normal, even wear them with handy dandy denim cuffs so you have an attachment point free for your jeans. Yea, you heard right :P Although I have to say, at 4am, I found the cuffs confuzling, and it was decided by persons other than myself that sleep was needed, mmhm. The skirt is also brand spanking new from Runorono, it’s The Patent Skirt. I’m wearing it with the top of the Silk Dress, which is deliciously sheer, and a purchase I made months ago with Sasy giggling at me in voice. Now back to packing, I’m moving in a few days, and I for one cannot fucking wait. Ash Out.

Ashia Pointe Ballet Slippers

It was way back in May of 08 that I first admitted my love for all things ballet. This obsession has spread across my inv with a huge collection of ballet boots/shoes/outfits, not to mention the fabulous updos!

So I logged in today to find really what was the best part of a totally shithouse day. Ashia Ballet Slippers. The amazing Siddean Munro of SLink has made some scrummy ballet slippers, in totally kickass colours. I’ve shown the blood ones here, well duh! You can also get Aubergine, Magenta, Onyx and Pewter.

These also come with a very user friendly HUD, and although I’m terribly challenged when it comes to that kind of thing, I found this one a breeze to use. Grab yours tomorrow/today (depending on your timezone) from SLink.

Kalnins

It’s that time of year again, and I for one couldn’t be more excited. I do so adore shoes, even though if you run into me shopping I’m more than likely barefoot!!

You must have tried the shoes from Kalnins? An amazing array of options via the really easy to use HUD, making your shoes extremely customisable. The pair shown here are called Dragoness, and fierce they are! The prices are terribly reasonable for the quality you get, and as I said, I really love the HUD.

My jeans are from Glow Studio, yea they make clothes too! They are completely ripped to shreds, but never fear oh modest ones, you gets tights to wear underneath :P The trench is of course from Aoharu, and is the total yum. So many more amazing shoes to show, I’d better get a move on! Ash Out.

My league

Having spent the last 2 days dealing with what can only be described as epic fail, I felt the need to slip into some old favie clothes and hell, why not document it for the blog :P

League clothes are the smex. The Scoop! dress is incredible, and oh so daring. Also absolutely perfect for showing off your cleavage enhancer. I chose Portia from Adam & Eve for her classic face and well toned torso.

I love the Strapped Wool outfit, it’s such incredible value too, as the boots are included. Another all time fave is the hair from Vanity, totally fierce. And now I’m off to get geared up for the Shoe Fair which can’t come quick enough for me. Ash Out.

Beauty Avatar

Sometimes shopping is the awesome in more ways than one. The other day, while hairwhoring round the grid, I bumped into Saretta Tedeschi, manager of Beauty Avatar. It was nice to actually see her in the flesh rather than conversing via IM. Anyhoo, she asked me to take a look at the new collection the girls had released, which I’m sure I had a card about, somewhere in my inv, but group notices if I even get them do tend to get buried.

So I have 3 very different looks for you, and I even pulled out my super special, limited edtition shape from Silouhette (which is no longer avail but gotta give Carissa props for it :P) The first dress is Zae, and I love the structured, military feel of it. To soften it just the tinyest, I added my brand spanking new earrings from Uzuri. So new in fact, Bella burnt my ears off when she handed them over, they were that hot off the press.

I’m such a huge fan of babydolls in SL. I used to wear them all the time in RL until Mini Ash came along, then they reminded me of being pregnant so they found their way to the back of my wardrobe, never to be seen again. But thats the beauty of fashion in world, you can wear all sorts of stuff you wouldn’t/couldn’t in RL. This particular one is Carola, and it’s devine. The skirt is shorter than short though, so do be warned :P

This last look is my fave, not least for the irony of me wearing earmuffs and a teeny tiny bodysuit! Fiona comes in an array of colours to suit all tastes, the white just felt the most dramatic to me. The hair shown is our new love from Boon, that I wasn’t sure I liked at first, but it’s certainly grown on me. Now I’m off to go back to waiting for the postman to deliver my brand new E-Cigs (love you Ivey) Ash Out.

Back Into It

So I figured I’d knock out a few posts to take my mind off the revolting weekend. As a break from Skinfair posts, I thought I’d show you some of the retail therapy I did to cheer myself up. It was an expensive weekend in more ways than one :P

I’ve got newness from Nyte ‘N’ Day in the form of the super cute Lijn dress in red. I love that the texturing makes you feel all cosy, while still sexy. I’m also showing off a new shape, Delyn Nelly, after meeting Linka Demina and her love, both of whom had on the best afros I’ve seen in ages. The lashes are also from Glow Studios, as are the earrings. Shock horror, me accessorising! The hair Dylan is from Maitreya, and the fat pack begged me to buy, swear.

The beautiful top is Bloom in grey from Nyte ‘N’ Day, I’m showing it with the awesome harem pants from Uzuri, they really are happy pants. We loves our happy pants in Australia, I wish I was home, I do miss it terribly. Ash Out.
